5½ Years Anniversary

It was our 5½ years anniversary on 10/10/2012.
We decided to celebrate at Rakuzen, GTower.

To pamper ourselves, we had Wagyu as our main course :)
The wagyu was excellent as it melted in our mouth. It was worth giving it a try *thumbs*

As for Iso Sashimi Moriawase, it is a must try for sashimi. The toro was one of the finest raw food I had.

Shishamo is a saltwater fish and consist of fish roe in it.

Sawadee Bangkok (Day 4)

4th and final day of our Bangkok trip.

When I'm in my secondary school, I used to hear Chao Phraya river in history class.
Now I'm going there to visit the holy temple of Bangkok.

First, we head to Chao Phraya river via BTS.
Upon reaching there, hop onto the boat and pay accordingly to the destination. It is much cheaper than buying one day passes.

Wat Arun
First stop is Grand Palace. It was the official residence of the Kings of Siam (later Thailand) until 1782. The palace complex is roughly rectangular and has a combined area of 2,351,000 square feet and surrounded by four walls.

Next we visited Wat Pho. It is named after a monastery in India where Buddha is believed to have lived. It is also one of the largest and oldest wats in Bangkok and it is home to one of the largest single Buddha images which is the Reclining Buddha.

Our third stop is Wat Arun. It is named after Aruna, the Indian God of Dawn.

All in all, the whole trip was adventurous and we had our fun shopping and walking. Hopefully there's another chance for us to re-visit Bangkok again :)
